Re: Golf Handicap Certificate
Played loads of courses albeit in Uk/Ireland that say you need to be x handicap to play and have not once been asked to prove it.

Re: Golf Handicap Certificate
Iron - played Vilamoura courses several times as have friends. I don't know anybody who has been asked for a handicap there, or at any "resort" course.

You will see some truly awful, slow golfers on the courses, who shouldn't be on the courses. Seems to be people playing golf on holiday, rather than golfers on a golfing holiday, if you see what I mean.

Bar and restaurant wise, I can't remember the names of any, but a good selection of restaurants around the harbour. Prices to suit every pocket. Bar wise they seemed to be better away from the harbour.

Re: Golf Handicap Certificate
I was over there last week for a stag do, we were forced to play golf as the stag loves it.

I've never used a golf stick in my life so I didnt have a Handicap Certificate and I wasnt asked for one.

Re: Golf Handicap Certificate
Been once and wasn't asked.

Worst case, sign up for GolfShake account, enter 3 rounds and it will give you a handicap certificate you can print and is generally accepted.
